Banff park wardens, Jessica and Sam are after the toughest predators of them all, poachers killing the Park's Grizzly bears. When they discover a decapitated bear with its paws missing they think they have interrupted hunters embroiled in an international animal parts smuggling ring. It is not until they unearth two bodies in the high country that they realize that there is something more going on.
