When Pacific Northwest eco-terrorists embark on a rash of lethal dam bombings along the Columbia River, U.S. Fish & Wildlife agent Venus Diamond attempts to find out what happened to her friend and fellow eco-cop Louie Song, believed drowned during a massive explosion of the Priest Rapids Dam.

A dead salmon is sent to her office, giving Venus a whiff--literally--of the strange and deadly path that lies ahead.
