Just One of the Girls

It's 1946 and Carol Brent has a new husband, a new home, and a new extended family. She struggles to learn the eccentricities of the Brents, intrigued by four spinster sister cousins locked in the past and confounded by a father-in-law who despises everyone. If Carol is to save her marriage, she must help her husband accept his mother's death while he served in World War II. A death for which he feels responsible. The arrival of their first child forces choices and revelations.
