Despite the gathering darkness and whispering snow, Nikki Johnson decided to take one last run down the mountain. With the recent merger of her company with Prisma International, Nikki knew the rest of her time at this luxurious Canadian ski resort would be spent in sales meetings and presentations. If she had but one afternoon on the slopes, she was going to savor it.

In seconds, she was flying down the mountain. In minutes, she was lying in a pile of snow at the base of a tree. To make matters worse, Nikki's fall was witnessed by a nearby skier, a determined man with ebony hair and glittering green eyes.
