Summer Adventures is the second book in this Just Like Brothers series. Continuing the tale of these two little boys from different backgrounds, we find that the core of the boys strength and love grows beyond family. As the two boys look forward to having a whole summer of exploration and fun, they find out about Bobby's dad's plan for him and his little sister. The boys' joy turns to sadness until their new friends, the barber shop guys, put their scheme into action, with an even bigger surprise waiting to enter the lives of this delightful pair. Again, the combination of engaging full-color illustrations on every page by internationally-known artist James Lynch, along with Rudell Kopp's ability to evoke emotion in an endearing fashion, makes this a must-read for people of all ages.
