About This Book

Brenda Harris was a soft hearted waitress who took pity upon an apparent homeless man sitting in front of the diner where she worked holding up a sign that said "Just Hungry." He told her a story of having lost his memory and all of his possessions. The reality of the matter was that the man was very far from homeless and was in fact the ninth richest multibillionaire in the world doing research for yet another novel. His holdings spanned many office and apartment buildings, a publishing house where he personally wrote under at least three names, and a timber industry that stretched from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. In his book research Brian fell in love with the kind hearted Brenda so much so that he was hesitant to become himself again. To make a long story less tedious in the telling, they did fall in love and get married; only a few weeks into the marriage a plane crash on the way to London killed the man and left Brenda in charge of his empire of businesses. How she handled her newly found wealth with her friends is what this story is really all about as seen through their eyes.
