A Counting On Love series prequel novella
It seems like a routine night when the Bradford guys (Sam, Mac, Dooley and Kevin) are called to the scene of a fire. But this time it's personal. The burning building is the Bradford Youth Center, where they and their wives volunteer a lot of time with disadvantaged kids. And now a couple of those wives and several of those kids are trapped inside.


Fortunately, another EMT crew, the firefighters and cops they know and trust are on the scene too. Meet the guys from the Counting on Love series.


Conner Dixon might joke around and give the other paramedics a hard time, but when there are lives on the line, he's all business. Well, mostly business. With the help of his friends, Ryan, Cody and Shane, Conner does what he does best—save lives and charm the girls. And irritate Mac. Conner's especially good at that.


This short story is meant to act as a bridge between the popular Bradford series and the spin-off series, Counting on Love. It shows how the two series are connected, it revisits the characters from the Bradford series and introduces the new characters from Counting on Love.
