Judgment by Fire

Matt Riordan???s friend, Hugh Prokop, is a nice guy, who has run into bad luck. Prokop???s Seattle marine business has hit a rough patch and now his warehouse has burned down. Inside, the fire department finds a safe filled with a quarter of a million dollars and the crispy corpse of Prokop???s accountant. Riordan takes on the job of defending his friend on the arson charge. But as more evidence mounts, it gets tougher and tougher for Riordan to uphold Prokop???s innocence. But when the case explodes in Riordan???s face, there is only one way to save his friend???s reputation, and his own career.
