THE FINAL CHAPTER IN THE "RANGER" SERIES. The city of Lubbock is slowly adapting to a world without power. The citizens are relearning the ways of their ancestors and coming up with innovative new ways to survive. The students of Texas Tech University, stranded far from home by circumstance, are taken in by local citizens. Together they work to bring a city back from the brink.
