Jody

Jody's not sure exactly when things begin to seem, well, funny. But gradually during her junior year she realizes she's not hearing quite right. It's so embarrassing! She can't follow her friends' conversations anymore and she can barely understand her teachers in class.

Could she really be going deaf? Jody is horrified at the thought. What would her boyfriend Mark think? Would he still want to date her? And her friends? Would they still like her?

Jody decides to keep her problem a secret. But it's not easy and things keep getting worse. Mark knows something is wrong and Jody knows she can't pretend forever. The question is, what will happen when she tells the truth?
