Jodie's Revenge

Sixteen-year-old Jodie Schultz seeks emancipation after awakening from a five-day coma. Doctors had predicted imminent death because of a severe concussion delivered by his father during a brutal beating. Jodie had taken a vow of vengeance after a similar insane beating on the day before World War II ended six years earlier. Jodie grows up in the 1940's and 50's, with the culture, traditions, and legal system of that period. Along the way, he gains the favor of several prominent people, who seem to always be there for him. In spite of his drive for revenge against his father, he finds an advanced level of maturity, wisdom, and character.
