Joan

Four years ago, Joan settled in Tabor under a new identity. She belongs, has friends and security for the first time in her life. All of that is tennuous, threatened by the knowledge her enemies will never give up looking for her. Facing pressure to let a friendship become much more, she is hit with evidence that her enemies have found her. Joan refuses to run, no matter what it costs her. To protect friends, however, she would face death.

Into this chaos comes a letter from a man claiming to be her unknown father, an invitation to visit him at Quarry Hall, and a proposal.
