Jericho Day

Lonzo Gates, the wild man of American journalism, is unhappy: the United States and its politics have just gotten dull. "Where are the foes of yesteryear?" he wonders.
But one night on a phone-in radio show, somebody whispers two words to him and the message launches Gates on the trail of the biggest story of his life...a plot hatched in Washington to change the face of America for all time -- no matter how many bodies pile up in the process.
Gates wants the story; others want him silenced -- and in the end, Gates learns that every man must face his own personal moment of truth.
