It's the Bass Player

A work of fiction based on actual events that happened to Cabot Barden, the author, while playing in a pop band in the early 1970s. The main character, Toby Martin, along with his two best friends, Corey Gable and Fred Litton, unfold their story of crazy mishaps, friendship, love, conflicts, and just being a teen in this era of rock and pop. From vehicle problems going to and from bookings they played, to an act of racial conflict they were drawn into, to playing concerts on stage with some of the biggest acts of the day, to just finding that special girl, the Three Muskyteers, as they called themselves, experience it all. So come along for a feel-good ride of fun and adventure.
