It Was A Dark And Stormy Night

There are some things an author is not supposed to do. One of them is to start with a purple prose opening line of It was a dark and stormy night. Another is to make the subtitle on the cover bigger than the title. In this very short story I set out to make all the author mistakes I could think of just to see if I could use them and still entertain.I suppose I should tell you a bit about the story? Well this is the first story of a series which tells how I became a time traveller. This first one introduces Alex my time travelling friend and also T.A.C.O. the Time Anti-Chronoclasm Organisation. Oh and Alex, incidentally, is also known to you as Jack the Ripper.
