It Adds Up to Murder

Abigail Newhouse loses her secure university job and is forced to work as a temporary to make ends meet. Her first long-term assignment provides a stiff dose of reality from the CFO of Holt, Inc., a management company. Abby tries to cope with the woman's unpleasant personality while Viola Grimes makes life not just tortuous, but downright murderous. Abby can handle that, it's dead bodies she can't handle. She wants to help with the investigation, though, but first she has to convince Homicide Lieutenant Nick Vaughn she's to be trusted. It shouldn't be that hard since there's an immediate attraction between them, but how can they have a relationship when he acts like she's his main suspect? Abby's efforts at sleuthing do provide help to the police, but they also place her in deadly peril when she comes face-to-face with a merciless killer.
