From the moment Daphne Chora started working on the archaelogical site on the Isle of the Dolphins, strange things began happening to her. On her first day at the digs, Daphne went into a deep trance, her body possessed by the spirit of a priestess of Apollo who had worshipped on the island over two thousand years before.

Sebastian Paleopolis was delighted with Daphne's new power. The archaeological expedition had been his idea: he hoped to uncover an ancient temple of Apollo and a legendary treasure that had been lost for centuries. He was convinced that Daphne's priestess wanted nothing more than to please Sebastian, but she soon discovered that her link with the past was bringing her closer and closer to a very current danger!
