Isle of Hope

Jiao comes from humble beginnings, living with her widowed mother down an alley off ZhongShan Road, Qingdao, China. She dreams of travel and adventure. One day a chance meeting with Chaoxiang, the handsome son of a wealthy business owner, sets her on course, for the life she had dreamed of. Jiao emigrates with her husband and children to New Zealand, but finds despite their worldly success, she is missing the thing she needs the most. Embarking on a new exploration of her own, Jiao takes a trip to Rarotonga, a small island in the Pacific. On the island, she meets a young man who leads her to a discovery that will change her life forever.
