Whiskers! In Connecticut things were never like this! Imagine me, mild mannered, philosophically inclined Cocker Spaniel that I am, staging burglaries and mad attacks and cheesing it (that's how Irma would put it; it means departing quickly) from the poli—er, cops. Not to mention my performance at the Globetown Playhouse.

The Professor probably thinks I've gone to the dogs since we moved to New York. Someday I'll have to tell the whole story. You see, it's all about a time, a place, and a certain lovely, street-wise kitty kat named Irma, who wanted more from life than tunafish...
