Into the Fire

Lacy Boyce was never one to fear challenges. As a firefighter and a paramedic she'd spent her life facing challenges, and conquering them. Then one night, that all changed. The night her husband, Michael, a fellow firefighter, died in a fire. The same night she gave birth to their first child, a child she would now have to raise alone. Yet she'd given up firefighting to become a paramedic hoping it would strengthen her marriage. Now she wonders whether she can be a mother and paramedic. And she's afraid to hope she can return to what she really loves, fighting fires, and still be a good mother. Is there any compromise? Lacy's Christian beliefs are put to the test.
