Into the Darkness

Caleb Locke, a 500-year-old vampire, becomes infatuated with Ren Sato. He's surprised by her boldness and lack of fear toward him. Caleb begins to develop a hunger and desire he's never known before. Despite his interest in Ren, Caleb suspects there's more to her than she's admitting to. Meeting Ren draws Caleb toward a quest to finding her missing sister. The danger involved pulls Ren and Caleb into a steamy relationship. When they discover who's behind the kidnapping, they realize that getting Ren's sister could kill them. They enlist the help of other vampires, including a small vampire child, Skittles. Caleb is initially disturbed by the presence of the child vamp until he sees her unleash her special power. The fight to free Ren's sister from her captors results in a bloody battle that marks only the beginning of their adventures together.
