Into Africa

When an old black hobo wanders into Wyatt’s life, he has no idea that it will lead the two of them (plus a young woman who picks them up hitchhiking) to a shared nightmare and a mystical journey to Africa to find ‘the heartbeat of the world’. INTO AFRICA traces their journey, both physical and spiritual, across much of America and then to Nigeria, where they must confront their nightmare and in so doing discover secrets about themselves and the world around them. Humor is mixed with dread, action with philosophy as their long, strange journey unwinds. A little bit Vonnegut, a smidge of Grateful Dead.
