The truth is revealed. The Judges were already airborne when the missiles were launched. Like two swarms of frightened bees they rose from their comfortable nest and took to the air. Two swarms who rose into the atmosphere to defend their colony as it dispersed across the globe, swept away like pawns on a chess board. Each dark Sphere turning into a needle sharp tear and ripping its own path across the globe. Once heroes, now refugees, the Judges fled.
