Innocence Lost

Imagine being fifteen years old and torn from everything
you know: your world, your family, and friends. Then imagine being manipulated
at the very molecular level of your cells so that you are transformed into a
super soldier. Now imagine spending the next two years isolated, except for
more experiments conducted by hostile beings that care only about you as a test
subject. You have now entered the world of Danica Jolan.
At seventeen Danica is a deadly force. She is empathic, with
enhanced strength and reflexes, perfect recall, and the ability to reduce her
mass at will. She has been trained to handle a variety of hand weapons and pilot
pursuit ships. Trust is a difficult concept, but one she must learn when she
is rescued from her captors by a galactic peace keeping force called the Dramudam.
Far from her homeworld and with no coordinates to it, Danica must begin her
journey of self-discovery as she transitions into a young woman. Can she make
the decision to give up her individuality in order to embrace her destiny as
a pilot for the Dramudam and with it her name and identity as a citizen of the
planet Earth?
