Now that Lexie is a burglary detective, the rules of the game are beginning to change. Being partnered with Samantha Preston, her boyfriend's ex, comes with it's own perks and problems. The local hotels are being robbed and burglary is on the case, but with a brewing internal scandal, it's hard to differentiate the good guys from the bad. Meanwhile, things continue to heat up with Lexie and Michael on the job and off. Detective Michael Riley is struggling with protecting his girlfriend and letting her spread her wings and cut her teeth on these new assignments.
