Indebted, Imprisoned And Sold To The Highest Bidder

Clara Tempest in is trouble. Widowed and in debt...a lot of debt. She is all but imprisoned by her creditors. And the biggest shock of her life comes, she is sold off to become a Mail Order Bride for a cowboy. Clara is informed of her husband's debt before the grave diggers have even had time to fill up the grave with dirt. She finds herself having to work off the impossibly large debt or face debtor's prison. She was all but imprisoned anyway. Then she is packed away out west, to become a Mail Order Bride.
