In The Shadow of Dead Suns

The Shaper War ended a decade ago, but their presence is not entirely gone from the galaxy.Rescued from the wreck of a bounty hunter's ship, Jack Wyndham finds himself aboard the independent vessel Lucretia with Captain Julius Lacerta and his crew of outcasts and rejects. They are on a mission to find their captain's one-time partner, Jennifer Ortega, who had uncovered a trail of clues to some unknown treasure of great value before she vanished.However, others are also interested in obtaining the same prize. Shadowy forces begin to pursue the Lucretia's crew as they follow the trail which eventually connects the mysterious treasure to a long forgotten chapter of galactic history, and Jack may also be harbouring secrets of his own.
