When Ariel, fae Queen of the Pillywiggins, encounters a baby, she immediately she wants one. Only catch is, she has to mate with a mortal to create one.

Rand Thayer is a perfect candidate—handsome, healthy, and fertile. Ariel manages to seduce him and conceive, but now she can't return to the faery world until after the baby is born.

She finds herself staying with Rand as the child growing within her plays havoc with her magic. Rand already has ten sisters and doesn't want or need another woman in his life, but he finds himself drawn to the intriguing faery.
