Betrayed by her gypsy boyfriend, Jovana Trajkovski manages to return to her parents' home in Macedonia after being abandoned and left for dead. Her brother Bojan offers her a safe new life in Arizona where she moves in with her future sister-in-law. As her brother's honeymoon approaches and his concerns for her safety rise, he asks his close friend, Randy, to stay with her. Randy Strong is an honest, moral man who speaks Jovana's language and he's more than just her brother's good friend. He also happens to be Jovana's boss. Complicating things even more, Jovana has developed unexpected feelings for the man. Jovana can't imagine a nice man like Randy wanting a woman with her sordid history so when a handsome stranger pursues her, she embraces the opportunity, even though her heart longs for Randy.
