Melody Sinclair is an overworked, underpaid woman juggling two jobs to make ends meet. She dreams of music stardom and has an uncanny gift for blending her angelic voice with just about any partner. The problem is, she just can't seem to find the right one, personally or professionally. Dale Austin is a wildly successful performer who has rolled into Nashville to work on his newest album. But the growing demands of his record company have left him exhausted and without a clue how to get the magic back. After a run-in at the recording studio, Dale is attracted to Melody's spunk.
