What if your dreams were real? Growing up in England with the ruins of a medieval castle as her playground, Anna Harrington had what she thought was an ideal childhood. Every night she would dream of a young boy from a different life and a different time and the adventures they had together. It all changes on her 14th birthday when her sister dies in a tragic car accident. Unable to cope with the grief, her father uproots her, tearing her from all that she loves and moves them to New York City. Her dreams disappear. Forced to bury her past, she tries to embrace a new life in America. Now, nine years later, the dreams have returned. But they are nothing like the dreams of her youth. These are unimaginable nightmares that cast a shadow over everything she does and threaten to overtake her life.
