      Debbie Dresden is a widow who is struggling to care for her four year old daughter, Tammy. First, Debbie fends off an attack by her employer and quits her job. Then, Victoria Dresden threatens to sue for custody of Tammy. Debbie makes some difficult decisions. She flees from Royal Oak Michigan and moves to the upper peninsula to Newberry Michigan where she meets the famous author, Richard St. Amour. She feels strangely drawn to him and she wonders if God has brought them together or was it just coincidences that led her to him.
