      About This Book

      Leni's husband leaves her in Las Vegas to help a missionary friend in Monterrey, Mexico. Her husband and a staff member from the mission leave to report an attack on the mission to the Monterrey police. They are not seen again and the police find the bodies of two men. Leni is told that J. R. is dead. After J. R's memorial service, Leni packs up her things and moves to Tulsa, Oklahoma to stay with her parents, Nathan and Barb Smithson. She never gives up hope and continues to pray to God for her husband's safe return.
