About This Book

This story is one in which the main character is an American Indian who discovers that his home, family, and tribe has been destroyed by the soldiers of the United States and of his attempt to gain some measure of restitution thereof. He made war against the United States army only to realize that one man may win many battles but will be doomed to lose the war. The only justification he had for making war was that his honor demanded that he bring the army to justice and make them be held accountable for the atrocities they had committed.
