Set between the third and forth books join our heroes once again, in a time when everything should be wonderful evil lurks and no matter how much good was happening in the world it didn't change the uneasy feeling that Kol and Vasos were having. They knew something was coming, they just didn't know what it was but they were about to find out their battles were far from over. With a mysterious voice warning them of dark times ahead Kol and Vasos must join with Sander and Sevrrir to find the missing shard of the heart of allegiance and receive the mark of the chosen, at the same time the others must embark on a quest to empower the son of Horus and get to the truth of who they can trust in the kingdom.
