Have you heard of the Rubicon Initiative? They are the ones responsible for Rubicon... What is Rubicon? It is a total substitute for reality, managed by the namesake AI Rubicon. Rubicon caught fire in reality, and everyone who once lived there now lives in Rubicon. Yet now there are people who are born in Rubicon and spend their lives there... Like Silver. She is a middle-aged to elderly woman, searching for the real world. Silver's free to search for the real world, as no one stops her from making that decision. But is the real world any better than Rubicon, meant to replace reality in its entirety? Silver knows about the real world through history textbooks, knows of the rumors... Rumor has it there is an illusionist hiding somewhere in reality, the mythical place all swore off. And so, Silver constructs a crossing to cross the Rubicon into the real world. Can she find the hidden illusionist? And if she does, can she return home afterwards?
