Sam Fields grew up in a small town in upstate New York, with her father the police chief for years, the family always thought that she would make the perfect detective with her eidetic memory. But that wasn't in her plans, after quitting college she decided that a bigger city would satisfy her more, stopping in Boston she wound up being a police officer until the night that her partner was shot in a burglary gone bad. Quitting the next day she drove across country winding up in Los Angeles, big city, big dreams. Going to work for a large movie studio, she loved her job as a stunt woman until an accident and she was demoted to gopher.
