Catfish meets the Kardashians, with a murderous twist. YouTube star Kim Knight is the teen host of the uber-popular "The Truth Project" channel that shares heartfelt confessions of anonymous kids from around the world. But her public profile makes her the target of a Hollywood-hating hacker, and she soon learns that the motivation to destroy her career as a celebrity is personal-and potentially deadly. As the hacker's chaos unfolds, many embarrassing "truths" about good-girl Kim are revealed, including an illicit online romance, as well as scandalous selfies. Kim becomes obsessed with finding the anonymous hacker-not only to save herself, but also her friends, and a growing list of Hollywood victims. As Kim investigates deeper, she fears she can trust no one and all that she once thought was truth is in question.
