Once upon a time, Val Fannon wasn't sure she'd ever love again, and she wasn't sure she wanted to. Busy with volunteer work and her family, Ben Tracey's invitation to a lunch date was as startling as it was exciting. Ben accuses her of hiding behind her family's and friends' needs as a way to avoid any issues between them and encourages her to put herself and their relationship first, just once.
