Forced to leave the safety of Rivers Crossing, sisters Lori and Virginia, along with their vigilant guard dogs, Zeus and Perseus, find themselves on the road again, following Old Bob's map. Surviving the dangers of the zombie apocalypse has become second nature to them in this, the third installment of their adventure. Still, the ever changing virus, producing new and varied strains of horrors, continues to endanger them and their traveling companions. Perhaps the greatest danger travels with them, as Lori struggles to come to terms with her nature. The changes occurring within her threaten to tear the sisters apart, and destroy their search for a safe haven.
