When Victoria Simms hires handsome handyman Alex Ross, she expects her granddaughter, recently-dumped-at-the-altar Maggie Conrad, to take notice.

Maggie takes notice all right. Her grandmother needs a fix-it man like Maggie needs another cheating, conniving fiancé. Despite her doubts about Alex, she can't prevent the threads of attraction that intertwine with her suspicions.
