Huntington Park Chronicle I

Huntington Park High School senior, Diamond White, prefers the nickname of Dia, which sounds like the name Mia, because it means day in Spanish. Dia must live between day and night for she is half human and half vampire. This means she cannot be with the one she truly loves for fear she will lose sight of her best friend, Matt Mason's emerald green eyes as they would change to diamonds if he became a vampire. Meanwhile, she discovers herself without say in a hostile romance that might last just for eternity no matter her opinion of Dominic Night. Will Dia be able to find happiness or forever struggle between Matt and Dominic?
