How To (almost) Ruin Your School Play

Okay, so I tried, I really tried to be happy when my big sister, Tina, won the school playwriting contest. As "playwright," Tina got to pick who was going to be in the play, and she got to direct the whole thing. When she started to cast The Terrific Tale of Tara the Proud Fairy Princess, Tina knew that I wanted to play the lead.

But that STUCK-UP, SNOOTY-PATOOTY Lilac Starr auditioned too, and Tina picked her over me. So Lilac got to wear the -Fairy princess gown and I was just a dumb tree in a dumb forest. How did anyone expect me to walk out on Stage wearing leaves?
