HOUSEBOAT BOY AND THE TIME MACHINE

Jarret Stevens is a rural highschool student living with his father on a houseboat located on Barnett's slough, just off the Sabine river. When he discovers a time machine which landed on the shore of the Sabine River, he tries to remove a small recently deceased creature from the machine, and in the process he becomes trapped in the vehicle. As it rises from the water, he has no control and enters into a series of adventures, visiting the past. Many of these adventures involve incidents in American history. It brings a new perspective to history.
