House of Doom, House of Desire

It was already dark when Olivia arrived at Dane House, the huge, ominous estate where her college roommate Amanda lived. Since she was summoned to the manor by Amanda's urgent and mysterious note, it seemed strange that her friend was not there to greet her.

When morning came and Amanda was still missing, Olivia became quite uneasy. The grumpy old housekeeper claimed to know nothing but Olivia suspected otherwise. And handsome Rick Pendleton, Amanda's fiance, seemed unusually unconcerned.

In hope of finding a clue, Olivia began a search -- and discovered two black candles, a jade box and three small statues. Someone was practicing black magic and suddenly Olivia didn't want to know who or why! But the crunching footsteps approaching her door told her it was too late -- there was no escape from House of Doom, House of Desire.
