This children's dialogue book is clever, timely, and teachable. You'll fall in love with the creative names of the characters: Wilt, Randelion, Sir R iss, and those adventurous flowers: Rufus, Rosie, and Ruthy. The message of the book is positive-Emphasizing hope, happiness, kindness, and encouragement. In addition to telling how pollen causes allergies, volume-1 also introduces children to hospitals as a place where sick or injured people go to get well. But perhaps the greatest strength of the story is that it introduces children to that dreaded word cancer, in a way that is not so frightening. The advice is good for everyone-not just children.
