Coming home. The phrase has many meanings, and can provoke many different feelings. People come home from college for the holidays or summer breaks. People come home after hardships or heartbreak. People come home after serving long tours of duty overseas. People come home to celebrate life, or to mourn the loss of life. Going home can bring sadness, or it can bring the greatest joys. When Shae McDunnah's agent sends her home for an extended vacation, she feels nothing but dread. She had long escaped the tedium of Sackets Harbor, the place of her greatest heartbreak, for Los Angeles. But as she is reunited with the lakeside village, she begins to think that, maybe, she could come home. But will meeting the source of her heartbreak make Shae run from home, permanently?
