Carol Baird came home to Happy Valley to try and forget that the man she love was engaged to someone else. And it didn't look as if forgetting Larry would be as hard as she thought. To keep her mind on other things, there was her temporarty secretarial job in her father's real estate office and there was Chris Hatton, the town's best-looking and most eligible bachelor. Almost everybody was taking it for granted that Carol and Chris would be announcing their engagement soon. When artist Tim Jerrold moved into the community, and Carol found herself with two admirers to choose from.
