Young athlete scores big win for high school football team. For Bo Bohannon, single sports reporter at a small Alabama TV station, the event is an opportunity to do a good deed. The boy's father, Mitch Thaggard, is stationed at a remote air force base. He should see his only son's moment of glory. It's Bo's idea to send him footage of that field goal. Little does she know that the human interest story is about to be rewritten as a personal victory.
