Holiday Hospital // Under False Pretenses

Even on the sunny holiday island of Majorca people are sometimes taken ill or have accidents; and it was for this reason that American millionairess Carole Van Moren had founded a hospital - that, and the fact that she was very interested in Luke Hallward, whom she appointed as the hospital Director. The arrival of an attractive young woman surgeon did not at all fit in with her plans.

For Amanda Verne her job as a surgeon in a Majorcan hospital offered an escape from the tragic ending of a love affair. Before long she found herself involved enough to forget the past.
